A Reading from Mr. Ulysses L. Murillo, The Brother of the Bride
"The little things are the big things. It is never being too old to hold hands.
It is remembering to say "I love you" at least once a day.
It is never going to sleep angry.
It is at no time taking the other for granted; the courtship should not end with the honeymoon.
It should continue through all the years.
It is having a mutual sense of values and common objectives.
It is standing together facing the world.
It is forming a circle of love that gathers in the whole family.
It is doing things for each other, not in the attitude of duty or sacrifice, but in the spirit of joy.
It is speaking words of appreciation and demonstrating gratitude in thoughtful ways.
It is not expecting the husband to wear a halo or the wife to have wings of an angel.
It is not looking for perfection in each other.
It is cultivating flexibility, patience,  understanding and a sense of humor.
It is having the capacity to forgive and forget.
It is giving each other an atmosphere in which each can grow.
It is finding room for the things of the spirit. It is a common search for the good and the beautiful.
It is establishing a relationship in which the independence is equal,
dependence is mutual and the obligation is reciprocal.
It is not only marrying the right partner . . . it is being the right partner."

On this day as we begin our new life together, we would like to say thank you.
We appreciate your support and prayers as we embark on this new and exciting journey.
We are blessed by each of you through your friendship, and we’re honored with your presence here today.

We also wish to give special thanks to our parents for all they have done for us and the love and
encouragement they continue to provide.  Thank you for raising us in caring homes filled with love,
laughter and a fridge stocked with goodies.  You have molded us into the man and woman we are today;
For that we are forever grateful.

We also give thanks to our bridal party.  You have helped us with so many details
and given us the emotional support we needed during the past couple months.
Thank you for standing by our side on the most important day of our life.

On this most special milestone in our lives, we wish to honor those close to our hearts who could not be with us today.
Candles are lit at the altar in loving memory of Mike’s Grandfather - Mr. Victor Erig Cariola, Sr.,
and Victoria’s Grandparents - Mr. Guillermo & Mrs. Aquilina Murillo, and Mr. Constantino & Mrs. Catalina Lopez.
and our close friends and family - Marie Palacio-Williams, Theresa Sevilla, Reny Sillona, and Mike Callero.
We thank you for guiding and protecting us spiritually.

Peace, Love and Happiness,
A Huge Thank You
Mike and Victoria
